Billing / Invoicing
Q: HOW MUCH DO READERS GET PAID?
A: 50% of collected payments.
A: Twice a month.
Q: WHAT ABOUT RECORD KEEPING?
A: Readers are required to keep e-mail reading notifications of incoming readings and chat transcripts and any other items of importance. We at AOP have records of all readings and transactions for billings. As an independent contractor you are required to maintain your own recordkeeping for your filing of any local, state, federal, and any other taxes.
Q: WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE IS A CREDIT CARD "CHARGEBACK" OR IF THE CLIENT REFUSES TO PAY?
A: A Credit Card Chargeback is when someone has notified the bank that they are not authorizing the charge to us. This can mean that someone else has used their credit card or they just decided that they don't want to pay. We do fight claims, but the banks favor their clients and so the merchant many times loses the claim dispute. The AOP Refund Policy: We want to have satisfied customers, and so, if a client requests a refund we will see if it is warranted or not. We will speak with the client to determine if a partial or full refund is appropriate. Of course, Readers get paid only when we get paid. None of us receive any monies if there is a refund or a non-payment for any reading.
Q: WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING LOCAL, STATE OR FEDERAL WITHHOLDING TAXES FOR THE READERS?
A: As Independent Contractors you are responsible for paying your own taxes. We recommend that you consult with an accountant and keep track of any new tax laws. AOP will furnish US citizens with a 1099 form which shows how much income you earned from the AOP website.
Chat Sessions
Q: HOW WILL A READER KNOW THAT A CLIENT HAS REQUESTED THEM PERSONALLY (FOR AN EMAIL OR CHAT READING)?A: This will show up as a message in your Manager Panel.
Q: WHAT ARE THE CLIENT CHARGES FOR CHAT SESSIONS?
A: See website rate chart.
Q: WHAT IS THE LENGTH OF TIME FOR CHAT SESSIONS?
A: From 15 minutes to 60 minutes.
Q: CAN THE CLIENT INCREASE THEIR CHAT TIME BEFORE THE END OF THE SESSION?
A: No, the client will have to go to the payment page and make a new payment for the added time.
Q: HOW DOES A CLIENT SCHEDULE ANOTHER READING AT A LATER DATE/TIME WITH THE SAME READER?
A: Inform the client to complete a new transaction under that psychics appointment button.
Q: DO THE READERS STILL GET PAID IF THE SESSION TERMINATES DUE TO TECHNICAL PROBLEMS?
A: If we get paid, you get paid. If we receive a partial payment, then you will receive the appropriate pro-rata payment.
Q: WHAT HAPPENS IF A SESSION IS CUT SHORT?
A: We would contact the client and try to arrange for another reading with the same reader so there would be a complete session for the customer. If not, then there would more than likely be a partial payment and we & the Reader would both be paid accordingly.
Q: DOES THE READER STILL GET PAID IF A PAID CLIENT NEVER SHOWS UP IN THE CHAT ROOM? OR CANCELS?
A: Usually no. Usually we would refund the money. However, if a paid customer never shows up, and did not cancel, and does not want there money back-then we would pay accordingly.
Q: WILL THE CHAT SESSION AUTOMATICALLY TERMINATE AFTER THE DESIGNATED TIME IS UP?
A: No, you will have to watch the time and alert the client at two minutes before the end of reading, giving you time to complete the reading.
Q: IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY THAT PROHIBITS A READER FROM LOGGING ON TO THE WEBSITE, AND SO, IS UNABLE TO E-MAIL AOP, IS THERE ANOTHER WAY TO NOTIFY AOP?
A: Yes. Call us at our customer service number 928-282-5619.
Q: WHAT SHOULD A READER DO IF THE CLIENT GETS DISCONNECTED DURING A SESSION?
A: Please make sure you note how much time the client was scheduled for the chat, when they "cut out" from the chat and how much time was left to the chat. First see if you both can get back into the chat by clicking on the chat now button. If you cannot reach the client then email admin@accurateonlinepsychics.com to inform us. We can either reschedule your appointment or refund part of their payment.
Q: SHOULD WE BEGIN A SESSION IF THERE IS A SEVERE STORM IN OUR AREA?
A: It depends if your area usually experiences "black outs" during stormy periods. If not, then the "odds" are probably in your favor. It is really up to the Reader. Of course, you need to inform AOP. Inform AOP by e-mailing us at admin@accurateonlinepsychics.com or by calling 928 282-5619. We will then let the client know the situation and will have them reschedule for a later date.
Q: CAN THE CHAT SESSIONS BE PRINTED?
A: There is no need to print the chat room screen as both the client and Reader will receive a transcript once the chat has ended. Important: Do not try to print the chat room screen as this might freeze your chat room session. AOP does not charge for these transcripts.
Advertising
Q: WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ADVERTISING?A: AOP is. Of course, you can bring clients to the AOP site and have those clients request you for a reading.
Client Related Questions
Q: IS THERE IS A LIMIT AS TO HOW MANY TIMES A CLIENT CAN ORDER A READING?A: No. Each session will be on a one time payment situation. Clients can order as many sessions or Readings as they can pay for.
Q: HOW DOES A CLIENT REQUEST A SPECIFIC READER?
A: By purchasing a specific reading for that Reader on the psychic & prices page.
Q: CAN A CLIENT REQUEST THE SAME READER OVER AND OVER?
A: Yes.
Q: HOW SHOULD READERS HANDLE AN ABUSIVE, VULGAR OR NASTY CLIENT?
A: 1) Politely ask them to stop the unacceptable language or tone and permit you to continue the reading.
2) Remind the client that the session is being recorded and they need to stop their rude behavior or you will need to discontinue the session.
3) If they do not stop, then tell them "Your session has ended!"
4) Immediately e-mail us as to what happened and type in the subject line: "Problem client."
Readers Questions
Q: WHAT'S THE STATUS WITH READERS OWN CLIENTS?A: Any clients that the Readers already have or acquire on their own (OUTSIDE OF AOP) are strictly theirs. This also is in effect after the contracts have been signed with AOP.
Q: HOW MANY E-MAIL ADDRESSES DO I NEED AS A READER?
A: A minimum of one active e-mail addresse must be available. This is so we can notify you of orders and website related information. You will also have an email address with our hosting website company where you will pick up your orders from the site.
Q: DO I NEED AN OPEN PHONE LINE WHILE I AM ONLINE?
A: Yes! It is necessary to have two phone lines-one for your internet connection and the other for important phone call notifications. This is backup in case your e-mail is not in working order. Or one phone line if you have wireless internet access.
Q: IS IT ALRIGHT FOR READERS TO WORK FOR OTHER PSYCHIC COMPANIES, OR FOR THEMSELVES WHILE WORKING FOR AOP?
A: Yes, but Readers can not use the same AOP website Reader Name as they do for other companies or on their own.
Q: ARE WE AS READERS HIRED AS EMPLOYEES, AGENTS OR AS INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS?
A: Independent Contractors.
Q: HOW LONG A PERIOD OF TIME WILL THE CONTRACTS BE FOR?
A: Signed contracts are for 3 months with renewal options.
Q: ARE READERS REQUIRED TO DO A MINIMUM OR MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF READINGS?
A: No. Readers may do as many sessions as they are available for.
Q: HOW MANY COMPLAINTS AND/OR CHARGEBACKS LEVELED AGAINST READERS BY CLIENTS DOES IT TAKE TO HAVE A CONTRACT TERMINATED?
A: Yes, contracts will be terminated after 5 client complaints or Chargebacks/Stop Payments for any Reader within a 6 month period.
Q: IS THERE A MINIMUM AMOUNT OF LOG ON TIME REQUIRED?
A: No
Q: DO READERS NEED TO NOTIFY AOP ADMIN. WHEN THEY LOG ON AND OFF THE INTERNET?
A: No, this is not necessary.
Miscellaneous Questions
Q: AFTER NOTIFICATION, WHEN MUST AN E-MAIL READING BE COMPLETED?A: We strive for within 24 hours-no later than 36 hours.
Q: WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE IF A CLIENT HAS FOLLOW-UP QUESTIONS, OR NEEDS CLARIFICATION REGARDING THEIR CHAT OR E-MAIL READING?
A: Follow-up detailed questions are treated as new readings and charged accordingly. Simple and short types of clarifications should be answered without the client being charged. If you feel the question is too general or vague, you can ask the client for further information, such as names, birth dates, or specific area of interest, rather than example "tell me my future."
Q: FOR PHONE READINGS, DO READERS GET PAID MORE MONEY IF THEY STAY ON THE PHONE FOR LONGER THAN THE CLIENT PAID?
A: No. There is no extra money paid by the client if you give the client more time than paid for. Note: There are additional long distance charges when Readers talk longer than paid for by the customer. Readers will be charged for additional long distance charges. And remember, you may be missing other clients waiting to receive a reading. It only makes good sense to limit your phone clients to the time paid for.
