Before setting up her private practice Divyo for the past 6 1/2 years worked at one of the most prestigious resorts in Sedona, Enchantment Resort, in Boynton Canyon; she was one of their top massage therapists and healers.

Divyo is from Germany, where she graduated with a degree in Clinical Psychology. In America, her degree is comparable to a Ph.D. After practicing as a clinical therapist for many years, she felt that something was missing from psychology alone. She traveled to the Far East to study, which brought a whole new dimension into her work.  She explored in depth the mind/body/emotion connection that she now brings into each session or retreat. She went to Australia to study Breath Therapy and learned Creative Therapy in Sedona. She trained in Myofascial Release, Cranial Sacral, Hot Stones Therapy, Tibetan Healing and Reflexology, as well as massage. She has been practicing these healing arts for the last 18 years.

Touching Essence Sessions

Touching Essence is an amazing body and energy alignment that Divyo created after many years of working with people and seeing what is truly of value for each individual.  Touching Essence offers a beautiful opportunity to release stress, emotions, fears, and frustrations, allowing you to come back to your true self. Divyo has the gift for tuning into the body and knowing where energy is trapped and not moving freely. Through a variety of techniques, whatever has created the blocks in your energy is released. It is only when energy moves freely that we can truly experience the joy of being alive. You can relax and go deeper and deeper into the essence of who you are.  By moving into your heart, your intuition, into your own inner wisdom and into your body, you move to the core of who you are.  It has the potential for being a life-changing experience. Sometimes clients come back a year later and share that their Touching Essence session changed their lives because it helped them get in touch with their trust and joy for life again.

Touching Essence Retreats

Feeling stressed is not just a result of working long hours. Whenever we hold back our feelings and don't dare express and then judge ourselves, tension gets built up in the body and toxins accumulate. Emotions want to move freely. This free movement gives us a sense of well being and empowerment.

The retreat will include a nature walk, a musical event and a ceremony in a birthing cave. There will be relaxation and meditation techniques designed to align the chakras along with explorations of some of your unresolved issues.

We will create an atmosphere of insightful acceptance, allowing and encouraging the participants to share and open their hearts. Through this opening, profound transformation and a new joyfulness can arise within each one of us.
